How to Root the Samsung Galaxy Note 2
- Extract the both downloaded files on your desktop.
- Open Odin which you've extracted.
- Click on PDA button and Select the CF-Autoroot md5 file you've on your desktop (extracted file, not zip file)
- Make sure the Repartition button is unchecked in Odin.
- Shut Down your device and boot into recovery by holding Volume Down + Home + Power button together.
- Then it will show you warning screen. Click on volume up to get into download mode.
- It will bring you to Odin download mode.
- Now connect your Device via USB Cable to your PC or Laptop.
- Click on Start button in Odin.
- Let Odin do the process and once its completed, you'll see a Pass message on the top left in Odin.
- Your phone will reboot. It may take some more time to boot at first time. So wait for it.
- Now you can un-plug your device from your PC.
